In-Game Latency?

Is there a way to check your in-game latency? I haven't had issues with it in the past but just now I'm getting massive lag. I'm in California and I know the servers are in EU so I'm just trying to figure out if there's something wrong with my computer (not downloading anything at all) or if there's a connection to the EU server that's a problem for me right now.

Server is based in France. I think people ping the server to find out their latency timings.
Another factor which does affect it is if you're playing wired or wireless.

Yeah is there a way to poing the servers to see what my latency is right now? I know most MMOs will tell you your ping (often referred to as your MS) simply by hoovering over something or typing in a command. Does this game do either?

Task Manager -> Performance -> Open resource monitor -> Network -> Find WAR.exe under tcp connections and you will find your latency.

I noticed that lately after loging in for a few seconds a message appears telling me my connection time to the server in ms.
I do not remember that from live and have no idea how it was enabled. It shows in the chat tab with the color of the disconnect messages.
Is this new to RoR? Perhaps this is the answer to your question.
