I always got a shitload of soft dc- but it seems they are not so likely anymore

I use sweetfx 2.0 and have also used reshade without any issues of crashing or disconnects other than the occasional desync due to bad packets listed above where all the npcs disappear etc.
Do you have any way for us to log the info when we crash, and somehow share it with you? If these packets are to be found, surely you'd need lots of testing? Would love to help out if ever needed. I know what it's like to crash all the time, and I would hate for anyone to experience it just half as bad as I've had it the last two months.Genisaurus wrote:This isn't news to us - we've been investigating problems with massive and more frequest crashes since several patches ago. We know they are caused by bad packets being received from the server, but it's not clear which packets those are, nor what causes them to be malformed.
However, you could also be crashing due to a problem with your client. We can't support those issues, but I'm recommending to everyone now that if you use SLI/Crossfire, you force it to be disabled when playing WAR.
At the moment, whenever you crash, the packets leading up to it are logged on the server, so there's nothing you have to do yourself.Razid1987 wrote:Do you have any way for us to log the info when we crash, and somehow share it with you?
