Creating Druchii names appears to be the hardest out of all, at least for me, as names do not appear to be influenced by anything.

Yes, HE/DE names are always harder (atleast for me) to come up with. There is a trick though which I have used since forever and people have been asking me how. Instead of taking names that are already pre-existed in the lore or change one syllable into a different one, I make my own based on my own "guideline".

Suffixes for HE:
- thril
- sil
- rion

Suffixes for DE:
- thar
- zul
- nol

Example:
Sirathril (HE), Vilhatharn (DE), Silanesil (HE), Ezerkzul (DE), Ionarion (HE) & Urzuranol (DE)

If they ever implement the choice of foreign letters again such as Â, Ä, Ë or Û again you should toss them in too. Who doesn't think a Blackguard named 'Urzuranôl Deathspine' looks way cooler?

I was not sure if those were for Dwarfs or Druchii.
I'm still not sure about my character's name though.
Mine is currently "Khangard." On the fence about it.


High Elves are basically LotR rip offs. so easy

I unfortunately, found a generator that claimed it was a Warhammer one, but instead directed to a generic Elven name, so I figured they had the same names as the High Elves- and hence went with a familiar name that I used in other games for that general style.

But, what ever. I'll stick to it. Good post!

I rerolled my Sorc for the 3rd, or 4th, time again because I didn't like the name. 3 r7-10s and 1 r17.
I think it was worth it.

He's not so far in.. only level 16. His name isn't so bad, just not to conventional standards if the 40k names are accurate. I'm not quite sure if the Warhammer naming conventions are the same through-and-through from the fantasy to the 40k works, otherwise that would be my only argument against using the Dark Eldar name generator as a means for drawing the conclusion

No, they're only suggestions. Very, VERY, loose guidelines. Some look like complete gibberish.

Breaking down known names from warhammer using latin/google-fu helps aswell.
Mal (latin for bad/wrong) e (of/belonging to) kith (English member of the family).
So you have bad family member
Mor (latin for dead/death) a (latin from/to) thi(latin used, originally ancient greek for theós or god).
So we can make that into Godess of death.
Lokh (old Irish for loch/lake) ir (verb from proto italic eo, meaning to go)
So lake goer, which kinda fits the bill him being a corsair and all.

I hope you get the gist of how our much beloved warhammer storywriters may or may not have gotten their names.
Lets put this to the test a bit and try it the other way around

Say we want a cool name for a tough as nails blackguard?
So we search for tough in a couple languages:
Latin:
durus
hard, harsh, cruel, severe, difficult, tough
Basque:
zail
difficult, tough, harsh
Catalan:
dur
hard, tough, severe

And then we do the same for nails:
Latin:
unguis
claw, nail, talon, hoof, Fang, hook
Basque:
iltze
nail, clove
Danish:
nagle
nail
Irish:
tairní

Now we have a couple good words that we can try to combine into a badass looking name
*Durustairn (leaving out the i, because that would make to name feel/sound smaller)
*Iltzedur (seems like a perfect match to me)
etc etc.

Ofc you can mix this up as you please and look up as many defining "name" words you like and then proceed to cut them up further to match your needs
