Say it with me: finally. After more than seven years of quiet, Dawn of War 3 is definitely, actually happening. Announced by Sega today, it’s pushing back towards the original game’s larger battles and bigger armies, expanding the suite of units from men and their tanks into massive walkers capable of standing toe-to-toe with armies.
Eldar, Orks and Space Marines will be doing battle according to the first, oddly melancholy but plenty bloody trailer, which you can see below.
Prepare for more epic action as you wage war with massive armies across landscapes full of volcanic terrain or on battlecruisers in space.
This universe has no heroes or villains. Through alternating missions you'll soon learn the combat advantages of Space Marines, Orks, and Eldar.
so back to the basiscs of DOW 1, also according to the website Gorgutz 'Ead 'Unter is back
the best Warboss is back, but ugh only 3 factions so more dlc for IG/chaos but it looks like it will be 3 campaigns according to the website

No no, you'll probably get Chaos for pre-ordering
Seriously though, am excited, will likely play if they don't manage to disappoint me between now and release.

PC Gamer article with some screenshots.
The designers want Dawn of War 3 to be their most accessible RTS yet, and that means making battles easier to read.
That sounds worrying...

Yes, and then they give chaos to everyone who buys it.
I played the previous versions several times.
Nice that the Blood Ravens return.

Seems like they are going for the Epic 40k route, with Dreadnought Titans and Imperial Knights. I hope we dont get another stupid "hey lets give Terminators to imperials only" like in DoW 1, i want the same for Chaos.
Their marines seem to be starving though, they are quite on the skinny side.

I can't stop laughing.
Space Marines proportions are **** up. Like really. They looks like they are scouts with defect in geneseed, god, one of them even tried to attack ork's killacan.

P.S Eldars in thrailer were great.
... God, they really looks like you created as narrow characted in Dark Souls as possible.
