Newcomer with a question about moddability

If I posted this in the wrong section I'd be thankful if the mods could just push me into the right direction.

First off, hi everyone. Have been playing WAR back in the days and finally decided to give Return of Reckoning a chance. Quite impressed with everything so far. The "devs" have done an amzing job, keep up the good work
Game is still as fun as I remember it; but graphically it did not age super well; I mean, didn't look all that amazing back in the day. Don't get me wrong, aesthetically its the bomb, but the low res textures and limited character customization definately feel dated.
To get to my actual point.
Is it possible ( for us gamers ) to extract, edit and load textures? I've done texture work and modding for other games in the past, including mods for other Warhammer games, - but I'm not really experienced regarding the moddability of MMOs.
I looked around myself but couldn't find anything.
