Return of Reckoning

Hello everyone!

I've read previous threads and stickies but can't quite put a finger on what my problem is. I launch the RoRLauncher, sign in, get to the age of reckoning loading screen, and the game closes out with no error. I've tried running as admin, no help.

no error massage nothing ?? if u ask me its something about youre graphic mayb . get new drivers ?

No errors:( Drivers are up to date and shouldn't (presumably) be an issue.

can i ask u did u update mayb win8.0 to win 8.1 or something ?
do u have punkbuster installed `?
or tune up programms ?
and try direct x reinstall are u using direct x 9 ?=

Still on windows 7, no punk buster or tune up, reinstalled direct x.

Same issue which is now fixed for me; launcher works fine, game closes on loading screen without any message.
The cause was that I tried to use my original installation directory of WAR from 2009 (yes, I like to keep relics from the past
I had this silent crash even though it was updated to 1.4.8-573.

The issue was fixed by downloading the version available here (through torrent).
I suppose there are some differences between the 2 versions which caused the crash. In your case, there might be some missing/corrupted files in your installation.
