Return of Reckoning

hi guys! i torrented the client and after it was finished attempted to run the launcher and was met with error
Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\Freeman\Downloads\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' is denied.

I realise this is probably in a thread somewhere but its past 1AM here as ive tried fixing it myself several diffrent ways already and am busy rest of week so dont have time :<

Hi! So I also have the same problem with not being able to uncheck the read-only, as I also torrented the client. Could you elaborate on what you mean when you say move the game folder? Apologies for the inconvenience.

I didn't have this issue, but I assume it's because I copied to another drive after I torrented it? Probably what they mean by move the game folder; move the folder to another location.

I couldn't reply to PM (as I assume I haven't posted enough or whatever) but simply moving the folder to another location on the same drive would suffice: then, right click the folder; properties, and remove read-only as described above.Save and close properties, attempt to launch and should work.

I can't help you regarding Q on virtual drive, I haven't done anything with them.
