It's a matter of whether we will wipe everyone's characters by the time we state this game to be in 'beta' state or not. The actual progression of alpha to beta state will most likely not require a wipe, but in the eyes of the community for an equal start and the ending of our alpha testing phase we could consider a wipe. We try to keep the amounts of wipes necessary on the server to a minimum, however.

I just hope we can keep the characters, names and all. Hopefully wipe won't be needed (for a long time, at least).

BTW best alpha ever, heh. Some early access BETA games could learn from you guys.

I personally understand that "alpha" would reffer more to server then the actual game itself, i mean is not like creating the game from zero.
