Yeah from the beginning. First Server was Veeshan than Luclin (i think). My class was a dwarf Paladin named Thorgram. I really loved it but it got later too time intensive for me. The long raids like Plane of time with 40 plus People

Fenador, Human Paladin of Drachenreiter... always ran with an Amulet of Necropotence illusion though.

I played starting from 2000 to 2004, loved it!
I would most likely be still playing if it was not for graduate and Med. School at the time.

My class was a Wizard, on Bristlebane server.
Good times raiding, kept dying and loosing experience, deleveling every raid since I could not manage my agro for ****, non stop nuking pulling aggro. I was pretty bad... lol.. I was quite popular... for t person with most corpses in some high traffic zones haha

I still remember the time some level 70 Troll managed to get himself killed so much in a short timespan, he was deleveled back to 13. He had so many corpses in the Guild Lobby it almost crashed the server we were on at the time. Thankfully he got help from a GM rather than having to spend a fortune on resurrection seals.

true , eq was one of the most harsh games , not just losing hard to gain xp but aswell u had to recover ur corpse.


im wondering any of you ever saw something akind to everquest blind line of spells? as paladin was one of our most used tools for pvp and it was mega annoying

there wont be any MMO game that marked me that much like EQ ( with respect to AoR / RoR ) i started playing with like 13 years old when Velious came out , it was pure magic for me running across Everfrost. I had a barbarian warrior called Genevac and lasted till Omens of War expansion... my favourite was raiding ToV / Sleeper's Tomb but i enjoyed pretty much zones like Ssra Temple and Planes of Power raid content ( Rathe Council was oh my god... )

Yeah, harsh yet fun times. With the cancellation of Everquest, this looks promising (EQ addicts) https://pantheonmmo.com, from the company of Brad McQuaid, one the original brains of EQ.

If you meant a line of spells similar to EQ, the closest thing I have seen is the blinds/mechanics of Paladin in WoW and Crusader in Diablo3.
