Stuck on loading screen

So whenever I hit the play button to start playing the game it goes to the loading screen with the book, but it doesn't seem like any progress is being made while its loading so the game is just stuck there. I've left the game on that loading screen for at least half an hour and still nothing is happening. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

During the loading screen when logging in your character, have you tried typing /stuck twice (as you would in the chat windows)? This should port your character.

I am having the same problem since I crashed early this morning after the quick patch update.
When I try to login on my main character, it loads to loading screen then gets stuck.
The character was in Altdorf.
I tried the /stuck /stuck within the loading page and it moved my character to Nordland.
When trying to login I am still getting the same crash.
I am able to create and login with other characters, just not my main who was on during crash last night...

There is a known issue where many players are unable to log in certain characters. It is being looked into, but as of now we're uncertain what the cause is.
It's been posted on the news section to inform players, which you can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=16524
For now, there's not much else that can be done.

No I haven't done the /stuck command, but this is a new character of mine also my first so I haven't logged in ever on this character. So should I just create a new character or just wait until the issue is resolved?
