Better stay lost.

Guess what? You, guys, should "forget" to add some parts of the game back.

I'm not sure why, but characters seem to be more durable in T1, than original, and PVP feels slower and more fun. Also, I'm not sure about talis, but it feels so much better without this cowardly potions. Let's pretend they never existed.

Would, also, be nice to "forget" fixing melee-channelling and throw away Mara's "fishing tackle". Maras would become balanced once in a lifetime.

Last, but not least - hotbar change for SW's stances is now broken, but cooldown is brought back. How utterly useless and annoying is this!

People can fill out the list, I guess.

If we're removing Mara's pull, also remove WLs pounce. That's fair.
Also, I agree with the talismas/potion removal, it's going to be hell to implement them anyway considering all tradeskills are broken.

noooooo talisman D:

-How you'll balance armor debuff on t4 without it
-Healer will suffer a lot from hide classes also from KD and burst damage
-Characters are more durable than original becouse we all have high level gear, usualy on t1 you got decimtor body and boots and thats all
-Land the dead it's ok, time talisman were the problem in first place, as they should be fixed and/or nerf/made permament
-most of balance problem in t4 cames from doomflayer and warpforge bonus set they are OP for healer and dps and UD for tank for their increase crit nature, furthermore their itiem level it's totaly wrong.
-about drink more potion there is the problem of wouds liniment + normal potion + time potion + absorb potion, these let you almost drink like 4 potion in the same 2 m cooldown, if something should be touch here, liniment wouds shouyld be removed from game, becouse it have no other sense that use it in this exploit, remove it do affect game negatively becouse alredy
Armor and tough being better than wouds is well know. No sure bout absorb potion but for time potion and normal potion coldown should be share.

Pouns puts WL, not near as tanky as Mara, in a harm's way, when pull is completly safe. Nothing fair here.
And how should Order catch those pesky gobbos, that can outkite WBs? :D

The Marauder pull is analogous to Fetch, not Pounce.

Otherwise, this thread pleases me on principle :P I've always said that if you add too many modifiers and too much power creep to a game, you shatter the original design and balance.

Players are more durable without talismans or potions? Stop dreaming. Even with full armor items you tank less than any trial char on old servers. You feel this way because melee hitdetection is broken.

Crafting is an elementary part of the game. Even blue talismans were enough to compete, so removing them would be a huge mistake. It doesn't even take a lot time to gather the mats.
The problem were people who refuse to use any crafting stuff, even if it was cheap and affordable.
Furthermore people who use T4 potions in T1 were a problem but this would only be a long term issue.

Personally I'd prefer to have original version of WAR than some kind of "we see it so" version. It will take certain, probably very long, time to return WAR to its full glory, anyway. Therefore we enjoy WAR part by part, one patch certain skill rules, next one there's another one.
I've also enjoyted potions & talismans as complex part of the game. If player has invested time in proper talismans (especially permanent ones), crafting skills and tons of potions, that's his level of preparedness for real WAR. And he'll probably win duel against player who lacks talismans and refuses to use potions, because he does not like them. And that's great, that's how it should be. This is not CS/GW2.
In case I've missed something and it's CS/GW2, let's get max full equipment right after character's creation! :)
