Return of Reckoning

i know it is not good. I know it is not viable. BUT... i wanted to see if anyone had a full dmg WP build. i had one in my guild on live and was always soooo much fun to watch, I have played healer WP since day 1 and have loved it, but since i have the time, and the will. I want to give it shot.

You can use Rampaging Siphon instead of Focused Mind if you want.

Pretty much that ^ Guilty Soul has its uses for AOE farming, too.

Is the point why Melee WP gets laughed often (as dps), the slow swingtimer (due to lesser proccs).
Or because he has more physical damage than a DoK? Or is DoK with the Dots+Spirit dmg generally a far superior DPS?

It's because he lacks a 50% incoming heal debuff (and has a terrible 25% version instead), lacks Devour Essence - which makes up a great deal of the DoK's burst DPS - and has a crappy version that depletes your essence in 2 seconds, doesn't get as many procs off due to slow 2h, and doesn't benefit from the 10% parry that the DoK does.

I think the DPS WP would actually become a force to be reckoned with if it had a Devour Essence equivalent/proper 50% heal debuff.

Maybe Azarael is willed to change WP too. Stylewise I would play him ASAP but since I only like him as 2H I play an AM for Heal and a melee DoK instead. I think they did a really good job with the current test changes. Hopefully he will look into Melee WP

While we are on the subject, what is the usefulness of the auto attack increase? does it inc damage THAT much?

At that point des would need a much more reliable aoe cd increaser imo
