Mobs Respawn

Hey
I noticed that mobs respawn is too fast. Ok I killed champion or Hero (with group or low Hero alone) their respawn is +-ok.
But when I and other players do quests where we have to go into closed arena and kill pack of mobs occurs problem. I killed 5x mobs in a row and need a 15 sec of rest, in this time first mob is respawned and next and next. It makes a problem with doing quests alone (Those even easy become ridiculus).
In my opinion normal (no hero or champion) mobs respawn should be elongate to 4 or 6 minutes. But it is my opinion, what you players think? Should it be elongate (how much) or nah? :)

(I doing a lot of gramma mistakes in eng but it should be clear to read :P)

The same mob respawn time seems too long just as often as too short, when you have a kill x of this mob type of quest. If mob density becomes a problem because of their respawn, you should group up with others. It is a multiplayer game, after all. There aren't that many quests that require a group, and certainly not many quests offering a useful, unique reward that can't be just skipped.

Not respawn is to fast, OOCombat regeneration is way to slow. When you are a nonhealer you can go to toilette after every small pack you killed. Also unlike other MMOS I hate the fact so much that there is not even FOOD or DRINK to faster regenerate health Out of combat. Hopefully they tune this up quite a bit in NON RVR zones. When you are not a DoK or some Cheesy AOE Monster(hello Marauder) farming is a real idiotic timesink with low reward/time. And no, for simple materials farming people dont group up for making the perfect setup...

I leveled many characters in this game and OOC regeneration is fast enough to heal you to full in most cases well under a minute (way faster then in other mmo´s), you do have a point about no food or drinks however, but if you compare OOC regen from RoR with say eating food in WoW you will see that there is not too much of a time difference spent on regenning your health.

I do agree personally that some mobs respawn a bit too quickly :D

Hi,

I understand your point that basic regeneration is fast, but as I said, without food its not only a little bit slower than other MMOS its MUCH slower. Your comparsion seems more like Warhammer OOC reg vs other MMO regeneration with lvl 5 Food as lvl 70 Character or so or so :)

I mean the regeneration is fast for itself but the downtime is much higher than any other MMO. And since DPS have no way of Healing (well some have cds but they are so marginal that you cant even recognize them).

All in all regeneration is dull boring and very slowish. (Even if the regeneration without food and such "gimmicks" is by far faster): Cant we get something like food or get the regeneration rate ticks speed up or single ticks getting higher?

I ask this, because I see no balance issue when this would only affect PvE areas.

Easy-to-use (CD...) healing or regeneration boost items would be a terrible idea.

From the three main archetypes, each has a balance between damage-damage reduction-selfheal. DPS do a lot of damage, but they're not that great with the others, tanks have good reduction but poor damage and (potentially) some selfheal, and healers are bad at everything except healing.
When you are farming mobs, for quest or just loot etc, and even regarding the thread's topic of respawn times, what matters the most is how long it takes to kill one mob on average. DPS can kill them very fast, but after a few mobs they will have to take a break to regenerate. Healers can keep themselves alive, but they will take a long while to kill the mobs. Tanks can have a bit of all three aspects, so they'll need to take breaks less often than DPS, but mobs will take longer. In the end, the average time/mob will likely be the same for all three archetypes.
Introducing items that reduce the time needed to regenerate health benefits DPS the most, not so much tanks, and healers not at all. Why should healers have to team up with other players if they want to overcome a large block of fast-respawning enemies, or just not take forever to get their quests done, and DPS not?
