Return of Reckoning

Me and my wife always play as a duo. She mains a white lion. She has full ruin gear, but only rr 22 as we play NA times and there were no pops. At level 40 she got pounce, and the rest into the axeman tree. I make gems and almost all her gear had at least 16 Str . She sits at about 6.2k HP. 30 precent Parry, 40 with pet near. That's where her limited rr has gone so far. She has epic quest weaponry, winds impervious for jewelry with skaven Parry ring. My ironbreaker always guards and oath friends her, boosting str armor tough AND Parry 25 precent more. She struggles to get close to 20k damage per scenario. I'm getting like 45 to 90 k full defense. I have no idea what's going on. Mostly we hunt healers, but even with my cc she dies like 8 times a scenario. Other than joining a guild we rarely would have time for what can we do?

Maybe you two could record one of your sessions and have that critiqued by experienced WL's?

If hes only going up to pounce does that mean shes not yet gotten force opportunity?

If you're dead that often no wonder you don't do any damage. You're just walking from spawn back to die again after using 5 GCDs.
Is she pouncing out of guard range?
Are you actually getting heals?
Are you jumping into 2-3x your number while most of your party is off somewhere else in the SC?
What is your spirit resistance?

Parry only works versus melee and only from frontal attacks. Consider dodge/disrupt which has 360 degree coverage or crit reduction which works vs everything. Though the purpose of WL is still to do damage, not go full deftard so it's probably something like running into a massive blob of enemies or not paying attention to when a sorc is setting up a rotation on you and getting out guard range etc. Or simple as not getting heals.

Also skaven ring is outclassed by jewelry we have access to now unless you are stacking armor or a 2H tank.

is she a mouse skill clicker or keybinds?

WL is burst class, your wife NEEDS pack synergy (crit dmg modifier) and stack melee crit on her gear

She NEEDS "Forced Opportunity" for armor debuff, that's literally the 1st button she should click/press after she's in melee range (pounce or otherwise)

If you are IB, you need to help control enemy front line's movement by getting the aoe ensnare. Another issue is target selection... don't focus on tank or guarded melee dps... look for squishy healer/sorc/SH

The meta has changed a bit, I see a lot more SH and range destruction lately, it'll be painful for WL since you can't protect her from all the range physical/magic dmg... but that's the life for all melee dps classes.

Don't rush in, WL needs to send your lion in FIRST and then pounce in + burst them down... some times you need to fake it by sending lion against one squishy and tell the pet to attack your intended target mid way. She needs to key bind pet attack button to a mouse button or something to switch target quickly.

You can assist with aoe ensnare (control movement so she have less melee pressure) and stun (cave in or shield stun)... literally there's no way a non-guarded squishy could survive an armor debuff - pounce - coordinate strike and stun (from you)

Yeah no forced opportunity. Our spirit resists are in the 600s guess we should make spirit resists pots. I don't think she is using coordinated strike I will have to mention it. I thought the 3 prevent Parry ring was pretty good. What do you recomend besides winds impervious set? How about cloak/belt?

And yes, we are not getting much in the way of heals. I made a tank because I was told order lacks them in t4 but it seems all our scenarios its one healer our side and 3 or 4 destro. Also since we pug it's extremely range heavy for us. Sometimes we are the only melee to destros 7 so they walk over us then chase our fleeing "backup"
