Return of Reckoning

As far as I get it, whoever delivers the DB to a mob gets the loot.
I'd been farming a particular monster that only has a few spawns on the map in order to get a particular item that monster drops. All of a sudden a certain douche nozzle shows up and starts pulling the monster aside, so that I can't finish the kill. To my reasonable request not to steal kills, i got 'ain't like you were here first lol'. although I was. I was then told to go farm the other spawn spot, which I did, cuz I want the item.

So here's the question - can anything be done about such wonderful people?

If your answer is 'Log a dessie and teach them a lesson' - keep it to yourself. I am expecting an answer with an actual solution. Like in the very beginning it was considered a violation. You could send a complaint and a game master would command the violator to stop, or they would be punished.

I suspect there is absolutely nothing that you can do or that anyone else will do. If the guy is flagged, I will happily kill him for you, but otherwise, gg.

Does it make a big difference? Before you could just pull a mob before someone. Just group up and help each other you'll kill alot faster and one of you can just leave the other to it after. Better than fghting over mobs.

I had this in the Frost Prison thing in West Pragg before. I was waiting for spawn when some guy turns up I offer him invite. Twice he refused it. He went on to pull the champ. Got close to killing it but died. I didnt help obviously. So then he arrives again while I've pulled it. When he notices I'm going to kill it easy alone. He send invite. Fat chance. Laughed, looted and left. Get called **** in region for about an hour. Funny stuff. Learn to share.

Used to have funny stuff like this happen daily in war. Never get it in mmos I play now. Shame.

Players just dont seem to be as varied and interesting. I think due to having so many cultures on the EU servers there were more characters instead of everyone generally the same. Also more people tended to be drunk playing war, usually dwarf players.

when it happens at destro souls they and their guild usually just get shunned from thereon... there's not a great deal else you can do.

I've seen people do that - steal the mob to get the last hit and with it the loot. And no one cares because there is this general attitude of "Oh well, it's Alpha." I hear that said whenever someone complains of a bug, which is fine. But "Oh well, it's Alpha" shouldn't mean there's no rules. The trouble comes in defining these boundaries. Is it okay to kill-steal cross faction? Is it to only be prohibited when you're taking it from a member of the same realm? The latter I would prefer, but this is hard to enforce. I would say at the very least, what needs to happen, is it needs to be changed where the majority of the damage dealt gets the loot, and not the last hit. But I'm not sure how hard that would be for the coders. So don't anyone take my uneducated opinion too seriously. Still, I'm not of the permissive opinion of "Oh well, lulz, **** happens. If you get your merbs stolen, steal theirs or go away!" Something has to change. Just not sure what or how.

My solution when someone keeps stealing mobs. I stalk them for the rest of the day and killsteal their mobs... Im a bitch!
