Searching for a targeting add-on

Hey guys,

I'm looking for an add-on that will simplify targeting for me. Is there something out there that will let me hotkey a button to target a specific class? For example, maybe I could hit CTL+W to target White Lions, CTL+A to target Archmages, etc? Or perhaps a add-on that provides a hotkey for targeting the nearest opponent (or friend) with low hit points (maybe below 50%)? Or target the enemy within a specific range that has the lowest hit points?

Thanks,
gracken/goate

Not that I know of.

You can set the auto targetting to target nearest or cycle. Enemy has targetting tags you can put on someone to ease of targetting later, but you have to be in range/targetted to drop on em the first time.

"Hate you this much"(Sure that's what it's called? My memory is telling me something different...) was great. To help target whomever was hitting you the hardest/most. But like most addons, is buggy.

WSCT is good for giving you a breakdown on the total damage you are receiving, so you can manually figure out who the be detaunting and such.

But for aggressive target finding? You just gotta get a good twitch with your mouse, or cycle targets. Or you could go slayer and spam Flurry... No targetting required:P

I'd like to piggy back onto this. I would like a targeting add-on that makes my ground arrow more visible and also a floating icon above the target that is much more visible.

The ground reticle is hard coded, but the above head target icons can be made with Effigy

Thank you. I will try this.

So no known addons that do advanced hotkey targeting? I'll look into "I hate you this much", but it doesn't sound like it does what I'm looking for - it's fairly easy to target the person chasing me.

The ./target macro doesn't work on RoR, so addons from live like Targets that made targeting easier don't work either (I think it's because they made use of this macro/code associated with , I could be wrong). Anyway there was an add-on called targets on live that gave you an enemy-like UI where you could select enemies. This was especially helpful when you were in a 4 melee vs. 4 melee cluster (Small screen space where characters can be selected by their graphical representation, because others are in the way) people were milling around (People's positions change very quickly) and mechanical targeting mistakes were quite likely. In this way RoR raises the skillcap :P. So it depends whether you see accurate fast clicking and movement prediction as a valuable skill or whether you think it's meaningless; then you can think that RoR is either better or worse than live in this way.

Can anyone help me in making the EVE target ring thingy work? (that's the crosshair in the video). I think it is part of Effigy, I have it, but I was never able to make it work :(
