This meme format usually bases itself on replacing the "one" in "we are number one" with something else, by which the video title becomes "We Are Number One but every one is replaced by something". It's basically YouTube Pooping, which was a fad (old word for trend/viral video concept) back in 2006 until 2011, by which you **** up an original video (source, or 'sauce') to the point where the idiotic, intentionally bad edits become funny. This meme has sparked a resurgence in a new-wave era of YTP, by which a new generation of internauts tries to amuse the masses by either creating extremely well-fitting YTP music videos, or wrecking the source video indefinitely with common day memery thrown into the mix.
