Resists problem

Hello, lets take a look at current damage calculations.
Here is some examples when played against group of destro in SC with plenty of chosens around.

Bright wizard 242 Intelligence! and 20 more buffed, total 262 int BW.
Top scores:
Fireball hits Morwar for 114(534 mitigated) 82% of total damage mitigated
Ignite hits Ulfv for 16(54 mitigated) 77% of of total damage mitigated
Ignite hits Avec for 13(57 mitigated) 81% of of total damage mitigated
Fiery blast hits avec for 33(147 mitigated) 81% of total damage mitigated

What is the problem? aura stacking? resist stacking? toughness stacking? something is terribly wrong here.

I was guarded, Avec was guarded and it's possible that other chosen was guarded.

does guard go as mitigation then? weird couse fireball should hit over 1k and its not.

What?

1k fireball in t1...have you lost your mind parv xD? ( my chosen have 2k life)

btw must be some kind of error in combat log for damage reduction calculation, dps damage are fine, the only issue is corp resistence that reduce elemental damage and vice versa. BW alredy crit me for 300+ damage make me feel squigsy
Then ye cross guard make that happen, they could have been on cross guard.

I meant if guard is not calculated as mitigation then fireball should crit over 1k, but it does not.
whatever the resistance is, at best it should mitigate 40%, when it mitigates over 80% theres definetly a problem. auras stacking up and guard calculated as mitigation???
however I will test those thing in the evening if I find enough chosens online

Re: 1k Fireball: Let's not judge damage based on twinks in the fully working game. You're going to peak at about 850 pre-mitigation on a maxed Fireball in RoR.

Easiest way to see if Guard is displaying as mitigation is to actually try it.

ok we get it.. you have a friend, he has a friend.. in fact..you all have friends...AND they all know how to use guard.. jeez leave it alone before you set of my AM into a fit of jealous rage!! :P

Yes, on live we had lvl15 and more than 400 INT to crit weak targets without jewels for 1000+ and twinked out tanks with 3000 HP and maxed toughness for 500 (not sure about resist buff). Obviously we don't have those stats yet.
