I remember there was an addon named autoband that fixed groups with 1 click. Very helpful for pug wb's. Is that available and working here?

It exists but it does not work.

Since we have lots of dps-healers now, it would be a good idea to have AutoBand detect it, using the flag the server sends to the warbandroster.
This method is now available in a new version of AutoBand, possible to disable.

If people prefer there is now also a method to statically tie a specific character to a specific role, to remedy the possible faulty auto-categorization.

- AutoBand can now detect alternate specializations for careers.
- Automatically assigns healer classes to their corresponding DPS roles if they are specced accordingly.
- Detects and reassigns ranged classes to melee roles if specced appropriately.

- Added the ability to manually assign specific roles to individual players.
- This custom assignment overrides automatic role detection when forming 8-8-8 warbands or when using `/ab org`.

- `/ab customrole add Nameofchar tank/healer/mdps/rdps`
- Assigns a static role to the specified player.

- `/ab customrole remove Nameofchar`
- Removes a player from the custom role list.

- `/ab customrole list`
- Displays all currently defined custom role assignments.

- `/ab alt`
- Toggles alternate-spec detection on or off.

- `/ab pr`
- Prints notifications when AutoBand assigns a role to a player.

- `/ab roles`
- Lists current warband members and their assigned roles.

Someone was complaining only RDPS showed up for his AutoBand-warbands, so I fiddled a bit, and I think I got it working..

Introducing DPS Weighting, an optional feature for automatic 8-8-8 warband balancing. Leaders can now define specific targets for Melee (MDPS) and Ranged (RDPS) counts within the 8 DPS slots.

Toggle the feature using /ab dpsweight [on|off]. Set limits with /ab setdps <mdps_count> <rdps_count> (counts must sum to 8). Can also be set within the GUI. If disabled (default), AutoBand continues to balance the 8 DPS slots without distinguishing between melee/ranged types, retaining previous behaviour.
