with upcoming renown reset we could discuss how renown's distributed between careers
dps gets biggest pie, tank gets second and healer gets smallest one in big battles

It's fine distributing between grp members
problem is when 2 grps compete on same target
who hit first, who did most dmg, who did killing blow seems matter
that only belongs to dps roles

worst scenario is tank/heal grp hold the target while dps from another grp or solo deals all dmg and kills it
this happens often in wb battles
sometimes u get really small pie as a healer

getting in solid grp and assist dps as guard/heal bot could be solution for tank/heal
while dps have option for solo
I'm not saying tank/heal need solo option, their role should have meaning in renown competition like dps.
how many dmg healed, absorbed could have more value than dmg

I just want to see more tanks, healers

Well as far as I read it's only a reset for people over 43 renown.

Renown is party based? What does class have to do with anything?

Is probobly refering to that dps classes in general dictates who gets renown. If you look at the top renown gained on the servers its 14dps classes, 4 healers and 1 tank. Dps classes have much better opportunity to gain renown from soloing/ganking wich makes it pretty unequal tbh. It also gives a carrot to roll a dps class for faster progression while healers and tanks are pretty much always depending on being in a groups with good dps and their personal skill doesn't really reflect their own renown gain.
