Return of Reckoning

I haven't played the on the server in awhile and I noticed that I had a character wipe, I'm not entirely sure what thats about but I don't really care about that.

Anyways, I'm playing on my BW, doing RVR and items are dropping that looks like BW gear (the flamey looking shoulder icon) but its for other classes or races like a warrior priest and rune priest. So I'm guessing that the icons for items have changed and was wondering what I had to do to update my game to display the right icons and possibly stats as well.

I noticed this while leveling my black guard too. It seemed to fix itself around t3/t4.

If you believe a particular item of gear has the wrong image, the best thing you can do is submit a bug report with a picture of the image in question. The link to the bug tracker is on the top of the website and you can create a free account there.

This was related to a change made a couple patches ago. Torque would know more about it.

Basically all T1 armor now uses a shared item model per slot based on rarity; the client does not assign class-specific icons to such items anymore because of it, but they will show normally as per archetype on each race when able to be worn. The same goes for Dominator Gear in T4.
