Return of Reckoning

Messing around with archmage. Got this ability Rain Lord detaunt targets in aoe reducing str, int, Ballista.
Going in path of vaul which it is, right now at -81 detaunt to those stats. At first tried it on a mob and seemd to reduce incoming dmg by around 60dps.

Now when i use it seems to only reduce incoming dmg by like 10/20points? Try it in pvp, doesnt seem to have much effect.
Cant really test it out on players in battle. Is this skill broken? -80 seems like it should be a lot more then 10/20 dmg reduced?

Just wondering if anyone knows

5 of main stat = 1 damage. so 80/5 = 16. So getting minus 20 is pretty solid - but detaunt is a 50% reduction pending you don't hit them which is a significant damage loss.

He means Debuff. Detaunt is an entirely different ability(walk between worlds is the AM AoE detaunt, they also have a ST detaunt). Rainlord is a debuff. And as an ability debuff, it does not stack with others. So if someone already has a STR debuff, they won't suffer both. Just the highest amount.

Also if you are in the lower tiers, it's very easy to overcap a stat, especially with the Bolster. So debuffing in that case wouldn't see as much of a gain.

And 5 stat are +1 dps ! Well its rly not a good ability. So If you debuff someones StR for 81 its about 14 and a Bit dps. So a a ability that makes 1000 dmg per second makes 986 dmg than and so on.. It work like that its no Bug or nothing Just a nearly useless spell The only cool Thing its aoe and i cast it First to preventing other dots like HD for cleansing
On shammy it was switched to an old ability getn smarter an int steal dot.

What about seing other effect of lower main stat? like more likely parry/dodge/disrupt?
