So the other thread is a little long and not sure if people look at it much so I'll just post this here:

I haven't played a BO since live but I was always fascinated with a 2H Boss build.

Would this build be any decent? Just general debuffing/buffing and hopefully(if the mechanics work out) all the AoE Triggering from Big Swing and Da Big Un' proccing War Bellows using Loudmouth to generate some damage?(Unless I run Greenest then I guess it doesn't matter what skills I use and wouldn't be 2H except for the feelz heh).

Is there any particular reason your going 2H? Style points? Da big un is is weak and underwhelming, if you want to proc bellows you could do that better with big swing AoE

You could be much for effective with a shield if nothing else to reach yer nothin faster with you sez me blok dat?

I really wouldn't consider this spec. This is meant for large scale aoe action, which really requires you to have a shield. And 2h bos don't really have a place in a warband tbh. There are other far better dps classes that can fill in that role. And since you are a tank, you would also be filling that role better if you ran with a shield. I didn't play much on live, especially not to those insane levels of brokenness, but I can tell you that this game is very different from live.

I don't think this spec would do much in small scale either, since you don't have your big hitters, THC and gork smash. Aoe snare is very nice ofc, I wouldn't change it.

I never use We'z bigger, it's a worthless ability. Once you hit T4 everyone will have armour pots, which don't stack with abilities. You could use Rock Ard instead, but that is also a very sub optimal ability. I don't know why you wouldn't take gork smash instead of less stabin me. I understand that you want more survivability, but I'm afraid you won't get that with 2h bo. You can take parry rings though, but you still lose HTL. If you're going 2h, you're going for damage, simple as that. And it's not that a bo can't dish out damage, cuz it can, but your build seems to focus on aoe. Having a shield greatly improves your capabilities/survivability in big battles. Also no point in specing for that m4. It's a really poor imitation of solar flare, and you don't get to use m4 often anyway. Just go with ID.

If you want to fight in large scale combat, this is what I go for http://www.ror.builders/career/black-or ... 00,4487&t=. Or you can go for KD and damage reduction, whatever suits you. For tactics go with morale pump, block, wounds and snare/toughness(if you don't take snare and want to last even longer).

For small scale you have your cookie-cuttre build, http://www.ror.builders/career/black-or ... 86,4485&t=, or again you can go for KD and damage reduction. AP drain is certainly not the most amazing thing ever, but you don't have much else to spend points on so might as well take it. For tactics, gork smash, loudmouth, block/stab you gooder (for ultimate dakka), snare/ave another one (if you don't take snare, for even more dakka).

Another thing. It's a long way ahead to RR 70, so you will have plenty of time to see how the class works and what suits you best

Build will not work outside a WB, and probably you are better off using a shield.
much useless aoe dmg in smallscale, can't apply pressure, will probably break every 2nd stagger in small scale.


Not a big fan of Boss M4. standard M3 has same dmg but aplied as burst + silence and general tank M4 is much better from a supportive PoV for LargeScale and small scale.
Rather take Not In da Face over Arm Break, the anti CC of not in da face is far more usefull if you use it while Arm Breaka is very limited in it's usefullness (1v1 and vs heals). since you aiming for boss specc with a 2hd you surely don't want to play a 1v1.
If you go 2hd take always the two handed tactics from brawler. Even if you don't standard slot it, rather have it to adept before a fight (if you remember to do so).

2hd overall in conjunction with boss:

I'm not a big fan of 2hd BO atm. but I think everybody knows that (every time I specc for it, it dissappoints, even with good gear). you get perhabs +~25% dmg for losing so much survivability (block), moralepump and the option to perma guard a target without draining your healers AP pool and GCDs and guide it to where it hurts. If you now put this in conjuntion with boss specc where you want to stand in the eye of the storm of an enemy warband to hit max targets and apply the debuff for your sorcs... I think this is not gonna end well. well and for small scale you doing a lot of nonsense dmg, while not applying pressure, this specc is always kinda bad if no dmg dealer is around who profits from the corp debuff (sorc, dps zealot, other minor sources) + 9 targets, in small scale there are never 9 targets posionend like that, that you hit all, most of the time max numbers you will hit is perhabs 3 to 5 and more often like 1-2.

besides all that, you linked a RR70+ build. it will take some time for your BO to reach that kind of RR.
Expect 2hd to not work until you are about RR50 (my personal opinion is even more, (you want much stats, resolute defense I at least etc.), you need a lot of RR points to make it work.

TL;DR: Think will not work well for small scale cause aoe build, will not work for largescale cause 2hd, but sure you can proof me wrong.

I like to use CYHMN tactic for single target damage. We iz bigger is only really good for damage, its actaully one of the highest if not highest damage gud plan abilities, I am only RR 41 and it can crit for almost 1k followed up by Shut yer face around 1.5 k and 800 to 900 auto attack crits, with taunt of course.

Loudmouth is corp damage so it benefits from WAAAAAGH! So if i'm assisted I use gork smash, SYG, CYHMN, and loudmouth. I go Anni for parry bonus. All in all it's underwhelming, if your hiting healers with assist, it can be okay.

I really wouldn't take it for damage alone since you can spend that on better things, what's the point in that. Right in da jibblies hits for the same amount, and it has a lower cd and no mastery requirement. Also are you sure loudmouth is corp damage? It doesn't say that in the tooltip.

You will do more damage with WAAAGH! & Sheild then you do with 2-hander and Da big Un. DBU is more of a skill to use when PVE farming before you have enough Mastery points to get better stuff.

I've had some ideas in the past that the No Choppin' Me tactic in addition to boost group WS also would make DBU heals group members for 25% of the damage it deals or something like that (Blessing of Heaven mimic) as both DBU and NCM are completly garbage in the late game.

What's NCM? ANd how would DBU heal? Are you talking about the tactic that makes WB's trigger a HoT? Does that stack? I was looking at that earlier as well but I figured it probably doesn't and would be massively underwhelming in actual play.
