Hello guys.
First of all, i want to say that maybe my question seems to be stupid, but i have never been so far in this game....so - right now, i am 30lvl/30 renonw, and very soon i will hit lvl 31, which means T4. My question is whats better - Stay in T3 debosltered, move to T4 and accept that it will suck at the beggining, or is there another option(s) ?....Srsly I dont know, and i dont want to haste and then regret sometning, so i ask you, veternas for some advices. Many thanks to anybody, who replies ;)

Then farm ruin set, use a shield and for the first few ranks you can even play with full Devastator set in t4 rvr/sc because of bolster and nice defensive proc on Deva.
Stay away from 2h weapons until you are r40 rr40.

You are totally fine as a Tank with Shield and ruin gear in t4, even on lower levels!
The ruin set gives an overall plus of 7% to the block rating, also toughness boost and armour gains (it was some 600 i think). It is a very fine set for tanking that you can use for a long time if you want (conqueror would be the next better set).

I have recently(-ish) leveled a KotbS and a WH from 1-40 purely* via RvR. The transition from T3 -> T4 is generally rougher than T1-T2, largely because of a wider gear span in T4 and the fact you don't get bolstered above the max level as you are in T3. Having that said, it's not even remotely as painful as it was on live (and even there it was manageable), so if you want to go from 31-40 via RvR, you absolutely can. On the other hand, I know at least one other KotbS that went Ruin gear + def setup to farm his scenario tokens and it seemed to work out well for him. Both ways are viable, in the sense that they will get you where you want to be with a bearable amount of pain.

I was RR ~39 on both WH and KotbS when I left T3. WH in Devastator, KotBS in Duelist with 2H, and it was fine.
If I can go into T4 with possibly the worst choice for damage on a Tank, cling to my scrubbish loldps/offtanking ways and still not feel entirely useless, you can do it with any other class, too. I had full Merc by the time i could wear it (+ the 34 scen weapons), so getting the gear was no issue at all. Same with the R39 weapons, which you don't even necessarily need.
My WH needed Annihilator, so I had to do some ORvR, which made it slightly harder to have the stuff ready at r35, but I still managed it with a combination of solo roaming and pug zerging. Yes, there were a few people that i could not beat at sub 40 that I can beat now, but overall it was still okay. Maybe I'm just a masochist though.

I'm not saying leveling in T4 RvR did not have it's frustrating moments, but there will always be ways in which T4 will frustrate you anyway. Might as well get used to them.
I would in any case, purely from a progression point of view, advise against staying in T3, as you will not gain the currency you need, can't play scenarios and will earn a fraction of the renown that T4 would offer you.

* Exception: PVE farming for money and crafting stuff

Endgame gear grind requires you to be in t4 for conq medallions and emblems on top of t4 only bag loot. The longer you spend in t1-3 the longer it takes to get in his gear which takes a tremendous amount of time.

As long as you aren't playing mdps you should be relatively fine in t4 at low lvl and rr the bolster system is one of the best improvements over live demonstrated by the team here.
