It always has been very viable in pug and low end play. Screen shots like this don't really show the whole story though.
I don't see this as much to write home about sure IB has always been reguard as good assist and yes tanks are enjoying g allot of decent damage because of the lower mitigation on DPS classs, but eventually both f these things will pass.

You play the DPS IB well, if only all of that damage was assisted onto our target
