ENG - Need Help/Advice Understanding

Hello All,
I'm fairly new to Warhammer and ENG since Live, so I wouldn't know the difference whatsoever. I had a few questions I can hopefully get some resolve with. Here they are:
1. Should my armor stats correspond with the path I take?
I'm Tinkerer right now, so for example should that be Wounds and Ballistics?
2. I've saved all my tokens from PvP and I'm level 28/18. I don't know if I should use them to buy renown gear or what?
3. Is there a link that shows what jewelry/armor you should don using a specific skill tree?
I'm so lost and sorry for all the questions. I have searched the forum, but I guess I don't even know what I'm looking for.
I have had more fun respec'ing in the Tinker line vs. Rifleman. Probably because I have no idea about rotation.
