Return of Reckoning

Ever since the recent patch I've been experiencing the worst lag in the game recently every time my warband clashes with an enemy, or at most times when I meet with an enemy player everything around me disappears, and my character could still move normally around the map like nothing is happening.

My main concern is that, it's not like in some other games where my character continues the last thing he did before he lagged, and once I get reconnected my character would resume what happened to him while he was lagging. (I.E. he would afk, take damage, die, or just move forward in a line if I was last pressing "W"). Instead what would happen is that while I was lagging the character would port to where I currently see I am going while lagging, making it look like I'm running speed hacks.
Just wanted to let the developers know (in-case they didn't already) that this could be an issue, or something that could be exploited since I have not experienced this in the game before. (as before if I lagged I would just get hit by a loading screen taking me back to what I was last doing). also on another note should I stop playing this for a while as I am lagging? I don't want to get banned because of my lag making it look like I'm speed hacking, is there any way to view ping in this game so I would know?

Happened to me wayyyy back when t2 was the end game and server lag was constant. I think the devs are pretty good at telling the difference between hacks and lag.

That's reassuring thanks! though I was serious about how bad the lag was recently for me at least, not sure what's causing it as trying out different games on EU servers seem to work fine, in this game I can lag for a minute or two before the game comes back, been disconnecting a lot now too.

I have this old 2008 rig I play on and a mediocre connection but even in big battles i have little trouble. Not sure what could cause yours to act up like that. :/

It's frustrating, every 1 minute everybody around me despawns, I could take damage and instantly die after I respawn from a player that had killed me previously, or just outright die while I'm hopping, It's not just in PVP anymore 2 of these happened to me while I was just in altdorf.

I had that happen to me after huge battles, and often as the server would have been running for exptended periods of time. Nowadays not so much.

Reminds me of the days I clogged my Wifi trying to raid in World of Warcraft, been on cable ever since.
