SoR not showing populations is in the latest patch notes:
viewtopic.php?f=42&t=42367. It's listed as an experiment so it may get reverted but it's definitely intentional and not just you.

Is there anyway to not show the city boxes (ie number of stars and time to next) in the newest version of SoR? I want to see the city siege box just not IC or Altdorf stars at the top of sor.

I click on the updated link and it either takes me to a blank page or says it has timed out.
I have tried it on the PC through both Chrome and Firefox, same result.
I even tried it on Firefox and Safari through a Mac, still nothing.

Idrinth has currently a battle agains some weird hackers...maybe check again a bit later

Thats because you have replaced an core addon with a custom modified one

After repairing client my sor is not working,( reinstalled it) ,cleared cache etc, any ideas what's going on?? :/
