just downloaded the client and game and tried logging in but i got an error starting unuauthorised access exception meed help please

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, I played the original WAR and I wish to play it again. I'm afraid I may be doing something incorrectly during the installation process.

Fixed the issue, after searching in forum I did what the following link suggested and now the game client loads up: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2889
I am still getting another strange error though which is preventing me from creating a character though.

Hmm something new here...Game just close after character selection login...

Remove read only on the game folder.

Remove the write-protection (right click the game folder -> properties -> disable read-only) from all the files in the WAR folder and try again. You may also try running the launcher with Administrator privileges.

If you used the torrent to download the game, the torrent application may still be using the files. Either copy the entire WAR folder to a new location (if you wish to continue supporting the torrent), or move the entire WAR folder to another location to break access to the torrent.
