Warrior priest: item set bonus RUIN/BL

Hello forum,
I make this thread to discuss the set bonus and item stats for warrior priests. As you may know, mix matching some pieces of this and some of that are bis for many dps classes due to the extremely strong set bonuses when combined. Mercenary and beastlord comes to mind as two giant stat buffers for mainly dps characters.
The stats and set-bonus for warriorpriest gear is sadly quite the opposite, because instead of melee stats+melee stat it quite often has meleestat and willpower. This is a big problem because if you are meleeheal you usually base your build around hitting hard and thus getting decent heals, the willpower on the set is not useful because not only doesn't melee heals scale from it, there are also two tactics you can run which increase your damage by 25%/increase crit and parry by 10% but combined they reduce willpower scaled healing by 40%.
Apart from this, the set bonuses are generally very good, weaponskill, reduce change to be parried, armor and chance on being hit to group heal comes to mind. But the often poor stats on the gear is what makes the WP sets subpar to other classes in terms of accumulating raw stats.
The only endgame sets available that have a 2 piece set bonus with strength are merc and dominator. Ruin has a willpower bonus before the str bonus and generally poor stats for damage making it nowhere near bis. (2:willpower 3: str 4: 1 point in wrath(!) 5: toughness). This illustrates the issue with WP gear quite well imo. Even in the wrath gear you have willpower!
My suggestion is to change the willpower on beastlord items to either STR or INI, because both these stats will benefit the warriorpriest and will result in more viable choice in gear. Furthermore I'd change the ruin set bonus for toughness at the 2 set bonus and willpower at the 5 set bonus, since it is a melee tree set afterall. And maybe change the willpower there to something more melee oriented?
To sum things up I argue that the beastlord/ruin gear stats and set bonus as it currently is is not useful for any of the tree's, and changing it would be a small revolution for the melee WarrPriest.
Hope to hear your thoughts guys, thx for reading
