Return of Reckoning

Hey guys!

I've returned after being away for about a year I guess. Now, today I logged onto my lvl 15 swordmaster. I was in Troll Country and got slaughtered by lvl 40 players. I didn't receive any form of bolstering.

This is probably part of a game change that was made when I wasn't around. Can anyone explain it to me and where I should be to level right now?

u need to be lvl 16 for debolster to work :/

And after that it is an all around lvl 40 zone? Because I've seen actual lvl 40 people quest there too.

And does this count for all "former" T2 and T3 zones?

T2 - T4 RvR is currently merged into one mega tier as part of the Doomsday event. The Bolster works in the lakes only and is strong enough that bolstered players have a fighting chance.

You can be flagged anywhere by choosing to flag yourself (either command, or attacking a flagged player, or buffing/healing a RvR flagged ally)
Funny thing is, to counter powerveling, after 10 shots to the head and several baseball bats to the kneecaps, the devs are pretty adamant about players not being able to enjoy bolster while PvEing, meaning no easy kill mobs with high stats.
This however means that rank 40s in Ostland or Troll Country can flag themselves, get no bolster/debolsters, stay as they are, but rank 16 will not get bolstered outside the official RvR lake.

So don't try being flagged for RvR outside the lake, that leads to no good.
