It's my first post here.

Basically I know there's strict meta and RP is one of the best healers, but there is also dps spec possible him. My question is if it's possible to be valiable as RP dps or its just a wasted slot. Anyone here tried RP as dps?

Try this for small-scale. RoR.builders - Runepriest

Immolating Grasp instead of Potent Runes any time of the day. Rune of Immolation can't be cleansed cause it's type is damaging, and that snare and ap drain can be really nasty.

What does cleansing have to do with anything?
Yeah sure you could use that if you were rr70 or you'd have to give up 10% disrupt strikethrough/50% direct dmg healing.

So basically all i can do is mostly Rune of Immolation + Rune of Striking spam.
Or do I have some combos thats worth to use? On paper dots + (Grimnir's Shield + Rune of Burning) looks like nice burst?

@wwright72 - Looks like youre experienced with dps Zealot. Can you tell me more about it? Is it worth? Can you compete with any dps class? What's the rotation i should be using etc.? I need to decide if I'm rolling that RP. Don't want to play something that is really bad, and causing rage from groupmates.

If u are afraid from rage of the teammates dont roll dsp healer

I'm aware of this. Just want to know if my performance will be like 50% of pure dps class or closer to 90% maybe.

DPS RP is like maybe 25% of a proper dps class.

You sure? There are dps zelots and they are not that bad i think.

I hope Fiskgjuse checks in on this and provides his thoughts. He rolled DPS and shredded at a high level.
