Return of Reckoning

Well, some of the last posts got me thinking

Could we actually build a racial warband aside of the rather boring moral bombing play style? Perhaps by just incorporating morals in normal tactics instead on just choosing all the same old moral and dump it at the same time? So I thought of an elven warband, wich would use 8 SM 6 AM 6 WL and 4 SW.

Group 1 would be
1 SM on Whispering Winds Build: RoR.builders - Sword Master
1 SM on Etherdance build RoR.builders - Sword Master
2 WL on Axeman build
and 2 AM on heal.

Group 2 would be the same

Goup 3 and 4 would be
2 SM on the previous explained builds
1 WL
2 SW
1 AM

The tactic i would use is to hold a tank and mdps line with support from the SW and AM and slowly kiting the enemy, just defending against their mdps and tanks untill te moral 2 for the SM. Then they jump in together with the WL, each group on on healer or Dps, while the SW and AM support them skirmishing.

The strength would be a high mobility, good cc and a high but short burst potential.
The weakness of such a wb would in my oppinion be, that it has less potential if it has to stay on a bo, as it needs to move
So in a plan for coordinated wbs of several racial wb, I would use this wb to harass an enemy warband and lure him to an empire bomb wb.


Do you guys have Ideas for good racial wb or just things to add, which I didnt see in my Idea, something that could work better or why it wouldnt work? Let me know.

A wb with 4 SMs per grp will be even better.

To create a High Elf warband would need a guild, unfortunately, my old Elvish guild was lost more than year ago.
The idea is cool but demand from someone how to play will not succeed. First you would have to collect a few people who will interest Elf warband.

That is of cause true. That is the main reason, why i called it Theory crafting. But the High elven harassment warband was only a first Idea. I hope for an empire warband, whre I do have an Idea for an Bomb wb, which I will post later, when I have made up the details, and Im sure the thunders would have to say something about a dwarfen set up.

I'd change 3rd and 4th to something like this:

Pressure grp:
2x Hoeth path SMs
2x Lil' Arrow spam build SWs
2x AP regen AMs

4th Support grp
1x SM
3x lions
2x AMs

Interesting? Why would you do it that way? Wouldnt that mean, that at least 2 WL wouldnt be without guard? What would group 4 do then? Just support the other 3 whereever needed?

The builds for the SW and AM are great. It might be possible to put on AP AM in group 1 and 2 as well.

Hoeth SMs give cq SWs selfheals and absorb bubbles while AMs debuff their targets and pump group with APs. 4th support group is for giving help where it is needed: 1 tank for guard-dancing and 3 Lions to protect healers and add focus burst where needed. 1 Lion from 4th can be exchanged for Ass/Scout SW (caster shut-downs if AM AP drains and silences do not suffice)

8 AM, 8 SM and 8 SW is all you need to perform, the M2 moraledump alone would devastate frontline, 8 SW will just outdamage any WL stuff you might try.

You are probably right from a purly effectivness point of view, but I wanted to include all classes the elves bring and wanted to get away from that rather boring m2 moral bombing. That is just so totally and frustratingly boring.
