issue with game

I used to be able to play this game.. within this last year I a unable to. I own my laptop and I have admin control.. But for whatever reason the folder will not let me take read only off of it. I have deleted reinstalled deleted again reinstalled.. Yet nothing will fix this problem.

you may also need to unblock the ror launcher as the block may prevent the read only from being removed.

How do I check to see if it has a block on it?

When you right click the file > properties. You may see this in the window.

Nope does not have it. But the game folder still says read only even after I tell it not to and apply.

You'll have to back up on this now. Let's start at the beginning and what happens when you try to connect.
If any error message appears, what error do you get?

Alright, this is a different error and nothing to do with ownership or read only.
You need to rebuild performance counters.
Download this:

Extract the file inside and run it as administrator. Then try logging in.
