Multiple class quesitons

Played back when it was t1 only, coming back to game, and my 3 favorite classes all happen to be high elves! So some questions

Is SW useful at higher levels? I read forums and when people mention RDPS BW is the only one mentioned. Why is this?

Briefly read over some WL stuff and it looked like a lot of people are saying it changed for the worse. What happened? Would it be better for me to roll a 2h SM than a WL?

SW are fine are they as OP as an SH not really but still fun to play their melee stance got a buff and can be quite lethal. As for WL i look at the angst and squealing it causes among destro players and the more hate it gets shows that it's a decent class. However biggest problems i see on a daily basis with WLs is the fact that most people who play the don't play in a heads up way. They lose situational awareness and only worry about the kill and consequently get left behind or get squished.

2h SM is good but doesn't really come into its own till around 20 or so....

This really intrigues me, does it play more assassin style or bruiser?

Just started an SW alt (again, .-.), to kill some time - its incredible enjoyable, especially if you manage to get yourself a guardbot.
The transition from rdps to mdps on the fly feels really great; you can pop AS and bumrush squishies - once mdps charge for you just WP out of the brawl and start kiting.
Imho one of the best class changes so far, atleast in the lower tiers it is hilarious. I think with a proper group it could be really fun in T4.

As to your question: Its basically a WH-lite mode, incredibly bursty ~ burstier than I had imagined, the haste proc in addition to increased AA damage, and the crit multiplier on the melee styles is pretty fancy... especially in the lower tiers, +50% crit damage is pretty neat.

SW is the 2nd best RDPS in the game currently (behind BW). While they have had the most amount of nerfs in the last few months they are still totally viable and fun to play in a solo and group setting.

WL had their Guardian Path reworked which hurts the average build for Guardian but if you build around the pet more it is in fact a little stronger than before. Still a great class for cookie cutter and lots of fun.

If you are looking to do damage in melee then absolutely roll a WL over a SM; SM is a tank and while they're the best LOLDPS tank out there they cannot compare to a a real MDPS and you'll drive your allies crazy trying to be a DPS.
