Killing blows rework suggestion -

Currently killing blows are granted to whomever gets the last hit, it doesen't matter if it was 5k dmg or 1 and it is creating bad vibe between players, especially the hate towards WL's is growing rapidly due to their finishers being able to land more kb's than other classes.
So here's a suggestion : Grant KB's to the player that dealt the most damage to the target . After all if you have been beating on a tank for 10 minutes it is only right that you get the kb and not the random guy passing by that gets the last hit.

KB means nothing more then a thing on the scoreboard in SCs or addons.
The loot a player generates when dying is given to the highest damage source atm and renown is split based on damage

Thats not the main reason why white lions getting alot of hate lately.
KB means nothing really at least in the lakes in terms of who gets the loot and exp/rr. Its been like that what 2 weeks or so now?

Excuse me if this comes out wrong but...should i just park my healers? Or how does it work for healer chars? I have dok shaman and zealot 40/40+ and thats what i enjoy the most...Healing. But after comming back from a break i have a feeling im not progressing on the RR or even the gear (emblems) side as i was before i took a break.
Currently im lvling a maurauder and have to say im enjoying it very much.

The old loot system ONLY gave you reward if you got the DB, now its given to the person or party that did majority of damage. Yes healing is not taken into account on this check, it did not before either.
Healers tend to stay at backline so its less of a risk for them in a group situation, that said the current system is not done nor is the logic set in stone.
You should def play whatever you enjoy most regardless of your chance of getting loot based on it.
And before anyone interjects I know its heavily relying on damage dealers, and I know since I ONLY play SnB tanks which have even less metrics to check for then healers.

No idea what conversation you are refering too? What i want to say is that before i could progress along with other classes aswell RR or Gear wise. Now i have a very hard time staying alive when i get jumped and yeah i know it comes from the fact im running in ilvl 39 gear instead of BiS and lacking RR but thats just my point... i dont see myself getting Dom gear any time soon...

My guild healers when we party up all the dps/tanks that have 3/4 conc gear or full gear pass on all conc med's to let our healers gear up. It helps out ALOT when we get 50+ medallions in a zone.

But yes, healers and tanks need a group to have a chance to work and receive optimal rewards.
