Update April 2018 -

The class has received major nerf and changes that these builds are totally irrelevant.

Any idea of this % damage reduction is for base damage only, or is it a straight cut off of final output damage? (Meaning, after wnds tali's, spec, abilities, ECT...)

If you are doing mostly solo than echoing roar is a must in guardian tree. An interrupt can help a lot against some classes especially against good choppas and mdps Doks.
