Tis the season to be grouping

Christmas suggestion!

In the true spirit of Christmas, we must learn to get along, embrace one another, and go out of our comfort zones in an effort to meet and establish friendships with new people!

Therefore I would like to propose disabling the pug sc on both the 24th and 25th of December.

Wanna kill those nasty premades? Hate being paired with the Grinch on his dps shaman, or Scrooge on his focused offense blackguard?! Then put on your favourite pair of Christmas slippers, start /5 under the mistletoe, and form some comraderies to battle off the Christmas naysayers!

Tiny Tim: Santa? What do you think of pugging during Christmas?

Santa: No-No-No!

(Enjoy your festive time, people.)

Short answer: No

Long answer: Hell no

How about we disable the ability to do premades in ANY SC, so we can force everyone to play together in a mixed bag of spirit and harmony.

It's a silly dream.

In all seriousness I find this anti-pug sentiment offensive. I go alone into pugs and I run with my guild in premades. Both options are fun in their own way. It's stupid to deny one in favour of the other.

If you don't like pugs, just que in premades all the time, don't try and force everyone else to follow your preferred way of playing.

It may be the best for you but it's not the best for all.

What if Santa-pan ran around those two days, formed a bunch of groups with randoms, queued them for scens, and 'had to go' shortly afterwards in the hopes they fill the group. Do that for a couple hours and fill the scens yourself!

Oh for crying out loud, it's a light hearted attempt at satire. Get over yourself

I like the ideas war! Santa pan has a ring to it.

I'll have to use a customised LFG message so as to let everyone know that Christmas magic is at work.

Yeah right.... warhammer would be pretty boring if we ALL lived in peace and harmony.

And frankly, I really would rather not be embraced by a black orc or a Blackguard. The first would crush me the second is far to pointy.... and not just around the ears.^^

I like this idea, I feel like too many do that thing where you do the same thing and expect a different result, which is fine!... but then they complain about the result.

I pug a lot but I don't really join groups or what not cause my characters aren't very "optimal" (is the word I'll use) for playing with other people; meaning they're below rr40 and most people blow some gaskets if anyone even dreams of grouping below 40rr/is in a full set of ruin/has only epic quest weapons/other rag-tag-t4-ready2pwn ways of gearing...

Anyway getting some people to group up and play together might not be a bad idea, especially if when they do complain about pugs for whatever reason ("it's 3 groups of 2", "they're a premade","how do I beat WL as x") the solution /advice usually gives is, "group up".

Tl;dr -> not a bad idea imo
