Return of Reckoning

Greetings all!

So, I found out about this project a while ago. I can't recall when or even how long Return of Reckoning has been active, but I remember thinking "Now, that's some awesome news" but I couldn't compel myself to getting into any MMO style game again.

Last night I was working on an art project and had YouTube playing in the background and clicked on a "Death of Game" video series relating to 2000's MMO games and the "Death of Warhammer Age of Reckoning" played and I couldn't resist the desire to play again.

The memories of getting "Rofl-stomped" flooding my mind and I wanted to feel that soul crushing feeling of defeat and soaring elation of victory again.

I thought I'd post here, and base my play on replies and feedback here.

Regardless of if play or not, I wanted to send a heart felt and sincere compliment to the crew that brought this game back from the dead, it was a great game, and I missed it. I wish you all the success in the world (especially if I start playing again)!!!

Welcome to the Warhammer Online Historical Preservation Society! Look forward to seeing you in game. PS T1 is insane fun now.

I think I almost shed a single silver tear after getting the client / launcher installed and logging in for the first time. Which was absolutely easy as heck to do. Yes, several steps, but each step was explained so well it's almost idiot proof.

Pardon me while I slobber all over the place. I had forgotten the music. Hearing it instantly took me back! I think I missed it, totally a nostalgic moment that was a fantastic welcome. I'm sure I'm not the first to post here and bring up their memories.

The client suggested that Chaos needed folks so being the type that roots for the underdog I rolled a DoK. No idea what the healer situation looks like in the server, but felt like the cordial thing to do as a guest here.

I'm going to log in and see if I can't killed a few times!!!
