Return of Reckoning

Damage taken by pet from lvl 4 mob's AA went from 12 with no points spent, to 13 with one and 14 with 2.

I know points spent in Guardian are supposed to affect lion's toughness; I'm assuming they should increase it? Didn't want to post it straight on the Bugtracker as I don't know if I'm missing some other explanation?
