Any help would be nice.

Don't expect any help. Been a week since I posted on the same issue and I got nothing from anyone.

Ensure firewall, Win Defender, and anti-malware have the launcher and Updater as exceptions or it will kill the update and hang.

I'm Helping.

Windows Defender kept saying that there was a Trojan in the file and would kill the program, I scanned it multiple times and figured it out it's a false positive. I set the game folder as an exception in WinDef and it updated just fine the next time I launched it. Hope that helps you too.

Thank you, I've tried to install the torrent and direct download folders. Ran into issues with the torrent one, and only ran into update problem with the direct.

Both files did not allow me to uncheck the "Read Only," With a few files and at the moment going to start over from scratch.

I went into the firewall settings and allowed both RoR and Updater to be allowed to try to solve this problem.

Will try a fresh restart with these directions once my Direct download is done from Mega.

Look for powershell script in forums that will help you disable read only on all files in the folder.

I try to help where i can. But since im doing it in my free time im likely going to miss some posts. Also sometimes i simply dont have an answer because the problems are new or very exotic.
