Return of Reckoning

Ok... I am not new to RoR, and dont get angry after loosing fight. But this kind of stuff happens for me for the first time and I would be gratefull for some explanation. During the 15 sec fight with marauder Gaara I wasnt able to hit him single time. Instead i recived info that he is out of my range. He was able to hit me all the time. It wasnt lagging , it was low pop zone and my game was running smooth. To be honest its not the first strange encounter with this guy. So I would like to ask if sth like that happened to other ppl.

I've encounteded him in scs before but other than noting that he is a monstro Mara and to ignore him I didn't see anything off.

I have expiercenced that issue couple of times. Got them on target, in range, pressing skills but they wont fire while still getting recked by enemy. Seems like its bug like used to be with oil. Retarget helps.

Its all server - client delay related thing sadly... On your client u think ur next to your enemy, but on server your not, happens all the time to me, like very often i see enemy getting out of keep doors or moving outside keep walls for like 1-2s, my abilities allows me to hit them, but u actually cant, and after 2s they move back to position...

Also similar with Morale1 root, many times i'm be able to use Tank Morale 1 Root which has 5ft range, but after that i cant use any ability and cant hit my target (Target Too Far)...

@OP - This would be something you take directly to a GM in private, no name/shame.

It's a targeting bug that cropped up a month or 2 ago, you need to detarget the player to "fix" it.

So spam escape.

You can also jump to re update your position on the server.

I once in sc got hit and kill by a flying WH.. yeah you heard it right.... he was flying over me and i got kill by him without the chance to detaunt him cuz he was "out of range"

Funny story and yet very sad .....

saw this bug on sc today when engi was untouchable in mid point. when he moved away he become unbugged.

also today with huge lag spikes sometime log don't show all damage you took. it's like you standing with 100% hp, bum, and you are dead. Log shows only few hits with 200-300 damage.

Probably has a good connection to server. It's at OVH France, and OVH France has some horrible peering, but it's what you get with budget provider.

Now, i have found something more interesting to explain.

Not to mention that combat log says "Your disabled by On Your Knees!" which is a WE skill, where was no WE around to hit me with it.
