i did uncheck to "read only" on the folder but when i enter to the properties again, it seems that "read only" is checked again.

I had this problem after the client downloaded an update today - Ran the launcher as administrator and it worked fine.

Same mistake for me. One of those 2 things worked:
1) don't forget to input your longin and password ;-P
2) copy/paste the client u've downloaded and lauch again.
Let the laucnheer verifying files, download 3479 files... and should be.....waaarrrggghhh !
