Return of Reckoning

Hey, I just came back from a long absence to this game and am missing all of my characters.

Are they permanently gone due to my absence or can they be restored? I'm happy to get neck deep in gore and level again but I would like my characters back if I can.

If you were absent for a long time they would have been wiped out for good, I'm afraid. However, it really isn't that tedious to level a new char if you're committed, and there have been a plethora of changes facilitating to the lvling process.

Translation, casual need not apply.

It's slightly faster than it was before but not as fast as it was before the nerfs.

This is true but to be fair with merged tiers the RvR endgame basically starts at level 16 now which you can hit in a day easily.

How long does one have to be inactive to lose all their characters?

there has been like 2 wiped of low level and unplayed chars in past but is not like they happen every x fixed time.

What was the name of your characters? Most of the people who make post like this just accidentally logged on the wrong account.

My highest level char was a SW named Laerith

Just did an armory search, SW is definitely gone.
