Return of Reckoning

when i enter my details and click connect in the ror launcher a message pops up saying that an error has occurred. please help i really want to play.

i torrented the game from the torrent link. it was already extracted so i put the ROR launch into the folder and ran it with admin. then i entered my details and clicked connect, then the error popped up.

Go to the folder where you put the RoR launcher in. Instead of opening the folder, right click it. Hit properties and uncheck the box that says read only.

Ok so i did that and it looked like it worked but then it crashed and gave me this error

at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.ReplaceFile(FileInArchive archFile, FileStream newFile)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

sometimes it doesn't give me the error but the the game crashes on the loading screen.

Go to the folder you put everything into and right click the folder.

Go down to properties and click it. Then you need to uncheck read only and do that for all of it.

oh and by the way do i have to use the war patch?

You do not have to, no.

no my game still crashes when i connect, right at the first menu.
