'searching for allies'

as i finish creating my character and click play. It wont put me into the game? its searching for allies and locating players or something like that. Any suggestions on what that might be and how i can fix it?

As answered above, the server is down. There is a thread about this already, which I keep up to date, by the minute.
Please check for that.
