Return of Reckoning

hey all, new to the serve but played Warhammer back in the day. Fancied picking up an Archmage and enjoying it so far but only level 11.

Was wondering if people could give me and idea of what builds would work or what stat priority i should be focusing on.

I prefer pvp if that helps, unsure whether to specialise in damage or healing but appreciate a hybrid healer/dps is probably subpar at both.

Like to hear your thoughts though!

Go full dps like 90% of the AM. Its a really bad healing class compared to others.

Hybrid doesn't have the tools it needs to function right now and the pure healer AM still doesn't have a way to make use of its own mechanic.

That said healer kinda sorta works, but it's only good for incredibly niche ultra-high burst healing, with almost no sustain healing. It has an aoe cleanse, though. Sadly, unlike the WP, the AM aoe cleanse doesn't get to effect Sorcerer abilities. If you want to play a pure healer, you would be better off picking WP or Runepriest.

My hope is that in the near future Cleansing Flare will be removed and replaced with some sort of heal over time effect. Preferably an aoe one, to boost AM's effectiveness in largescale. The healer AM might be workable at that point.

Take every ability in Asuryan outside for the M4, take scorching touch tactic, then take Mistress of the Marsh in Vaul, the rest is whatever.

For stats, just go full intellect talismans and you'll be fine. You'll figure out the finer tricks of the trade as you go along.

Don't bother with hybrid healing, it's absolutely fuvked due to the devs half assing the removal on lifetap healing.

Fact is healer AM/Shammie is in a worse situation than on live where you also ignored mechanic, no reason to play one.

EoV still scales with willpower and does no dmg, while BE scales with int. Fixed af mate

Well, at least its not a completly useless class, u can still be a mediocre, no burst dps. Yyyyaaayyy....
