What parameters must be met to ensure you get the 4 medallions for participating in a Fortress attack/defence? Do I need to be there from the very start?

I ask this because there was some confusion last night with the Stonewatch/KV victory on destro.
I managed to get into the fortress to attack Stonewatch quite late into Stage 2 since it was a clusterfuck trying to get into the portal next to the Order WC in Kadrin Valley. We had warbands with half their players still stuck in KV as they could not use the portal when in combat.

I still netted a few kills and participated towards the successful push into the fortress for Destro but I didn’t end up getting anything at all when the keep lord died. I don’t mind getting no roll since getting any bag is quite unlikely especially with my garbage rolls, but talking with some people in /t4 afterwards I found that people who only joined in the Fort for 10 seconds before the lord died still got 4 medallions.

I know that if you crash you don't get anything.

We're still working on sorting out some of the bugs. You should open a bugreport stating that you joined during Stage 2 and did not receive contribution. That list might only be created/modified during stage one.

you need to be in the fort at the time where the fortress end (either timer or lord death) to get the medallions. The rest we do not want to share on how it works currently.

is it correct that sometimes you don't get medallion at the end?
no need details, just possibility plz.
if someone participate from start to end but performance was terrible,
is there a chance that he don't get invader medal?
simple yes no is enough for me.

(Unless bugged ofc) if you contribute in the fort you should always get medallions.
