what do you think to remove the combat requirement to SC?

So I was just wondering if it would be a good idea or not to once-and-for-all remove the requirement to enter SC while in combat?
Yes there is the problem that people use it to escape certain death... OH well.. Not 100% effective though because of the windows between sc 'pops'.
Maybe the benefit is better because getting rid of the restriction to enter scenario is a major issue that can be a critical immersion problem..
Oh well just gl and hope it all gets improved. +1

Being able to join while in combat would be abused. People could just be in queue 24/7, whenever they get ganked: SC POP! CYA!

Or just wait for the coding to be corrected so you're not combat bugged. Alpha is alpha. And yeah, we don't need join while in combat that can be abused in open RVR.

You might find out how annoying that bug is, I cant re-log to an alt anymore cause ill get combat bug so to change character I must close game/launcher and reload all......alpha or not that's insane and i bet there are plenty of people in the same boat, kinda hard to ignore ;D

It is a client side requirement. If the client is in combat it wont let you click the button. So we don't actually have a choice.

Hmm... Surprised at the vote results.
I find that contrary to the response this is actually a big deal.. I thought it would be easy to fix by simply removing a line of code... Obviously I am not correct.
Still, it's a problem especially for those who don't know about it - newcomers, etc.

Any change to WAR can be drastic as all hell. Look how roots didn't work in the last patch. This game has a history of doing 1 thing and breaking another. Plus it's going slightly backwards in terms of progress, it's better to just move forward then try to bandage stuff with quick fixes. Time is of the essence.
Also, I can't stand in RvR when you put someone in combat, and they just take a battleground to escape death, a la SWTOR
