All ive seen is zergs of bored 40s rolling over everyone .. is that all there is? Why are they even in T2? Is T3 any better or are they so RRed up thats anyone else is just fodder?

T3 is not.
T4 is.
The leveling process itself is pretty crappy, particularly since you can't just grind it out in peace in PvE areas because then your renown rank is too low to equip gear for T4. It's pretty much one long period of suffering until you get to rank 40/renown rank 35ish or so so you can equip entry gear and maybe do a shallow cut on the max geared zealot instead of the mosquito bite you were doing earlier.

They might be lvl40, you are lvl48. You need more practice I guess. Being lower than 40 is no explanation for getting butchered.

It is important tho to make the best use of bolster is to get decent talismans in your gear. Update the gear whenever posisble for the best effect.
